I picked up a paintbrush in November of 2013 and I have yet to put it down. It seems that in some strange twists of fate, art has found me. I can't tell you how excited I am about it.

I started with a number of watercolor classes with artists Peggy Martinez and Larry Keefe. I have attended watercolor workshops with Paul George, Judy Soprano, Kathleen Giles, Linda Kemp, and Mary Whyte. I have taken some oil painting classes with Peggy Martinez, and Pat Tribastone. I have attended oil painting workshops with Aaron Schuerr, Kate Stone, Elizabeth Robbins and I have mentored with local oil painter, Lennie Muscarella. I also took a portrait drawing class with Sari Gaby.

I have had paintings in the Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery,  Rochester Art Club Studio, the Finger Lakes Gallery, Different Path Gallery-National Wildlife Show in Brockport NY, Pat Tribastone Gallery, and had a painting accepted to the National Flora and Fauna show in the Adirondacks, Old Forge in 2017. I have had my work in shows at Marti's on Main Gallery and Java Junction . In Nov 2018 I had two paintings accepted to the Rochester Art Club Fall Show and two accepted to the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society Spring Show 2019, with one winning the Board of Directors Award!

I am honored to currently have my work on display at PITTSFORD FINE ART, 4 North Main Street, Pittsford, NY 14534, along with ten other very talented artists. pittsfordfineart.com

Paintings done in the Elizabeth Robbins workshop

This beautiful wall was installed at the Brockport High School. Each of the Seniors did a tile in the school colors. It was a gift from the Seniors to the teachers. So fun to be a part of this project.
